Epic!
THIS VIDEO WAS SO HELPFULLLL THANK YOUUUUU
Incredible! The perfect amount of detail. I’ve looked for things like this before and they’re never as extensive or well-informed. Thank you Nick!
Throughout my life, I have liked several of these at any given moment, but now as a grandma, I have a visceral pull toward dark academia and Gothic. When I saw those two rooms, I thought, “that is where I want to be!“
This was great, thank you. I wanted to learn more about interior design as I’m in the market for my first house. I feel this video helped me get a sense of starting point as to what actual styles I like. Biophillic and Industrial for me, combined with a bit of Minimalism.
Imagine if Nick could talk even faster how much more he would have fitted into this extremely fun video 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks
What would you call it when it’s a mixture of designs like modern farmhouse, industrial and mid century?
Indian was not Indian enough.
And that’s coming from an Indian
Namaste🙏🏼
wow they really threw a whole continent design and said "Mexican" hahahahahaa. They deleted latin america. BUT, that being said, I feel like so many styles overlap… I love me some rustic, industrial design
can you do a video on how to choose a style and whether or not you should try to stick to the same style for every room? like should my bedroom and living room both follow the same style?
7:22 these do look like random things thrown into a room together though lol. I don’t like it.
I think I’m a mix of cottagecore, farmhouse and bohemian 🙌🏻
None of the examples are actual Bauhaus, all are postmodern interiors using Bauhaus furniture simply for their aesthetic effect… Bauhaus, however, was a deeper philosophy…
Now I understand why I could never pinpoint my actual style preference, and I gues its because I like several types.. At least this video helped me narrow down _which_ of the several types I honestly enjoy!
French Country for the win thought it’s not featured here.

My greetings!
I love this video thank you for your amazing work!
太好看了,这个视频太棒了
hello sir, could we discuss Egyptian interior design style in our next video? It wasn’t covered in this video, and I’m really interested in learning more about it. Thanks!
one of the most depressing videos my night shift ass has ever seen.

Love this!!!
That was GREAT! 👍
Love love this video! ❤
I am not sure if Im more confused or clear about my design style. My favorites are
Bohemian
Maximalist
Mexican
Moroccan
Tropical
Does that make sense? 😅
Nick! I love your content! I learn SO much from you. Ive spent countless hours doing research for the knowledge i get from you in a 25 minute video. Thank you so much for putting time and energy into these videos. Before i found your content i had no idea what to call my personal design style. I can finally say im a good mix between biophilic and Bohemian. My husband and i love nature and i was thrilled to learn that there is actually a design style to bring the outdoors inside for the ability to connect my home with nature. It truly is a design style that promotes a calm and peaceful atmosphere. ❤
THANK YOU!! Exactly what I needed 😊🙏
cool
Not me learning design styles so I can improve my bloxburg house lol
I would like to see pictures of interior designs with a touch of living in it. Like a room that feels like a person is living there, not in a chaotic way but that we can imagine how it would look in an everyday life.
Casually throwing in Boho, but not listing and describing it? How come?
Wow! Thanks so much for the hard work and time you put into this amazing and informative video. The images really help, and I’m sure it took some time to find the ones you were looking for. Thank you!
It would have been great if you would have added to the "African style" (questionable title too) that it does not have much to do with the actual Africa and is rather the stereotypical western idea of what Africa is, a little like you mentioned it for the Chinese style (which was great!) only that it is a whole continent and not a country 🙂 I mean you also didn’t throw Japanese and Chinese design together and called it "Asian style" …
My style is boho and organic modern I would say.
After puttering around and trying to figure out the style I like best, I think it’s mostly southwestern! 😊
I love how Nick tries to have such restraint when discussing glam
How do you not mention European farmhouse or country or primitive?
This was so helpful! Subscribed. ☺
amazing video for beginners thank you.
This one is a doozy! Let me know in the comments if you have any other interesting insights into any of these styles – I’m not an expert in 50 styles so I’d love to hear from you! Also the deep dive videos into a bunch of these styles are linked in the description. Also, here are the VERY important timestamps for easy reference later. Enjoy!

That was fantast, helpful and a blast to watch
I described my own style as « Urban Modern » with a touch of industrial. I don’t know if Urban is actually a style.
Crazy infos, Thanks 🥰❤❤❤❤🔥
cool
Is it possible to have a coastal cottage modern farmhouse look?? Because I like more than one style, just not sure how to match it up 😂
Biophilic , rustic, goth (kinda but not really). The best way I can describe my style is witchy enchanted forest in a dark cave
As a Russian, just wanna add that USSR design style is also very interesting. We still have lot’s of USSR gramma chic here in Russia. I felt it very dated when I was a child and now I understand that was a design style and I can see reflection of that style in what’s popular in design now in Russia.
Nick hatesssss the Glam girls loll
